What a wonderful tribute to your grandfather, the idea of using his shirts and trousers is a very touching idea. Every time you look at it you will be reminded of him. Very sweet indeed and your pattern and work are beautiful!

Using those special fabrics from your Grandfather's clothes makes this such a special quilt for just that. On top of that it is really a sharp looking quilt.

This wonderful quilt will warm you twice... once with the materials themselves & also with all your loving memories of your grandpa. What a fabulous tribute to someone who sounds like a very special person!

That is beautiful and I am sure your Granddad would love it. Unfortunately I am severely allergic to wool so I do not see myself creating such a wonderful tribute to any of my family members. LOL

A very nice way to wrap up in his memories and keep him close.

Now, any time you want a hug from your dad, you can simply wrap him around you. Great way to preserve his memory. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
