    Welcome to the Quilting Board. You are doing fine - just remember, you are your own worst critic. Like others have said, we all have to start somewhere and believe me, my first (and second, third, etc.) attempts at learning a new skill leave plenty of room for growth.

    Everyone has to start somewhere. You are doing great. Keep at it and soon you will be able to make more complicated quilts.

    I think you are doing a good job. It looks like you are fussy cutting the squares so you will have a dog face in each square. It may be a simple design, but cutting all those squares will take time.
