this morning started to lay out the next appliqué border. see pics, I think that the bright pink are too much? , and I am still not sure about the checkered border, it is too distracting? will be deciding on it later.

Love your ideas and execution of this design. Also like to see someone else design on a piece of paper with colored pens or marker. I really like the hearts for leaves. Can't wait to see it finished. Thanks for the inspiration and pictures.

How interesting it is to see your process. I have not been brave enough to attempt an applique quilt but I like them and I am enjoying your posts. I will stay tune for sure.
As far as comments on what you have done so far or what you could do, I am too much of a novice to offer any help, sorry! I like what you are doing so far
