You did very well. As stated before, once it is all done it'll be fine. I love to do my own quilting, but getting the three layers of a quilt together is the part I don't like.

practice is how we all improve. when I learned to do the feather stitch, I did it backwards and even today when I do it, I try the regular way, and it looks a bit ametuerish. so... all in all, you are the only one you need to please, and that will come with lots of practice and patience. Good looking work!!

Oh, I think you are very brave and if they are your first feathers they look great. While I am very new to my long arm & still learning I posted a sign that says " Think Cursive " for some reason that helps my brain, Which videos did you watch?
