Working on UFO Scrappy Quilt

It's very cute! You said you had run out of scrappy blocks. Does that mean that you have also run out of scraps to make more blocks to make it bigger? If just adding a border (or borders) does not do the trick ... either in looks or the size you want, you could maybe set it aside until you get more scrappy blocks made???

I love the addition of the the star block. It adds interest and gives the eye somewhere to focus. Great scrappy quilt. I love it without sashing. I agree with others who recommend a dark inner border and a pieced outer border. It's going to be beautiful.

I love it, the star is the focus of the quilt, your eyes go there right away, I believe you have enough dark fabric at the edges of the scrappy block for no sashing, but it is a busy quilt, so a narrow sash of neutral color or even white may finish it off nicely, great job!

I would leave it as is. I like the secondary design that are so random and unintentional. I think sasshing would interrup those. Making it bigger? Add more blocks or a nice large solid colored frame ie, border. What are yo going to use it for? What size does it need to me. As it is, it seems like an esquisite table topper. Maybe you are finished with it!
