Your quilt is beautiful and the next one will be great too. Doesn't it just warm your heart to give a little of your time to one who has given so much? I made a Quilt of Valor last year. I am awaiting shipment of 3 uniforms from my son. From the uniforms I am going to make a memory quilt for a nine year old girl who lost her daddy. He was deployed with my son.

That is a lovely quilt and the blocks for the next one look great too. I haven't heard of people gifting quilts to wounded servicemen before, maybe because I live in England and sadly, many people are ignorant, disrespectful or extremely hurtful towards our troops.

It is a fantastic way to show these men/women that we appreciate their sacrifices. It's things like this that make me have hope for the human condition. Well done, such a good cause and a lovely quilt.
