What a great bunch of quilts. Thank you for volunteering to make quilts for vets. You and your friend are certainly quilting angels.

Awesome quilts! Thank you for your service! I love volunteering at Quilts of Valor where we make quilts for in hospital active service members. You are correct, it is very rewarding even if you never meet the quilt recipients!
hugs,
DJ

This is such a wonderful way to honor our veterans. I know each quilt will be cherished forever and also the thoughts in their mind and hearts. Thank you so much.

Default Warrior quilts

You did a fantastic job for a great cause. You and your friend should get the QM of H (Quilting Medal of Honor)for this outstanding accomplishment. As a cold war vet, I had the privilege, at the request of my sister, to make a comfort quilt for returning vets this past September. It was my second quilt and a total of 168 quilts were requested. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about quilting on that project.
Attached is a pic of my soldier quilt
