It's a wonderful quilt. And what a great team you are! Your husband did an excellent job of picking the binding fabric, your granddaughter did terrific piecing, and your quilting pulls it all together.

My DH has gone on a couple of shop hops with me, and I was amazed at how well he would match fabrics.

What a lucky girl to have a granny like you to teach her. I'd say her first effort turned out so beautiful that it won't be long till she is ready to do more. .
