    Yard Sale Bonanza

Went to a yard sale this morning and hit the fabric jackpot. I got about 40 yards of fabric for $7.00. that comes to 17.5 cents a yard. She was selling the fabric by the bag for $7.00. I stuffed as much as I could get into it. Here are some pics of my find, sorry some of them a kind of blurry.

She must have been selling someone else's stash. None of us would have sold those nice fabrics for a price like that. I think you may have gotten the bargain of the century

OMG! I've already instructed my daughter to not "give" my fabric away. Someone obviously didn't know the value of fabric and what they had.

Kudos for being in the right place at the right time. I don't think you got one ugly fabric in that haul.

Wow you got the buy of the century! I would have loaded up ALL the rest of the fabric at that price! Beautiful pieces in there....the person selling it had no idea what it was worth, obviously! But I'm so glad you got to take it home!

I agree with LilRain. Maybe it was more of an estate sale.

Wow! What a find!! Congrats. We don't often come across such a treasure... I once was on a thrift store & noticed a bag of scraps waiting to be put on shelf. I scooped it up for $7. Probably got 8-10 yds of fabric. 4 of same pattern, different colors, all coordinating (probably 2 yrds of each). Other scraps to add to my stash.....

I'm thinking you got a great deal ... then I wonder what you left for some other quilter/sewer and I hope none of the leftovers got thrown away. I, too, am green with envy .... beautiful fabrics. Lucky you!
Make it a scrappy happy day!
