The machine is a Model 16 from 1900!! GRAB IT!!!!

WOW! What a pretty quilt. Looks like it's in really great shape too. I've never seen that pattern. So glad this quilt found a good home.

Sadly, to many, family heritage is of no importance any longer. You got a beauty, and it looks like it has been well cared for.

I agree. That is one of the prettiest vintage quilts that I have seen on here. You are very lucky to have found it and to be able to preserve it.

What a beautiful quilt. So lucky you found it. The close up looks like muslin was used for the background. I just love the look of muslin with this type of fabric. Just makes it pop. Heck, I just love muslin! Congratulations on your find :thumbup:
