I just finished this quilt. It is for the wedding of my son-in-law's brother and is being held in South Fork Colorado. We are leaving tomorrow early evening for the 18 hour drive there. I just finished it and threw it in the washer before I pack it in the car tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to the 10 day vacation we are taking to Colorado. We used to live there and have some friends that we will be staying with in Evergreen after the wedding. We also have some property outside of Pagosa Springs that we haven't visited in a while. Our daughter Megs is going with us.
There are 46 people traveling from Camarillo California to South Fork for this wedding. We will be among a whole bunch of friends for the weekend.

Their names stitched all around the quilt border

How lovely is that!!! I LOVE your label - how did you do that? Is that embroidered?

Yes, my sewing machine has embroidery capabilities. I only know how to use what's on the machine at this point. I have not had the time to figure out all the computer stuff to be able to do up designs that I have downloaded. I am taking the lap-top in the car with us tomorrow and we bought a converter thingy to run a computer off of the cigarette lighter, I hope to at least get a little time on that (dd bought it for herself and we only have one "plug" in the car) Maybe I will get to figure it out some and be able to do more with the em. I can't take the machine, but I don't need the machine to try and "decode" the blasted program!!!

That is so neat. Love the fact that the names are along the border, such a personal touch
