I think the turquoise is great. It is totally appropriate. It is a bit bright but when it is quilted that could be toned down with some nice quilting in a dark thread (maybe brown) in that area. Be sure to show it againg when quilted!

Possibly a mustard (if that's the yellow color in the quilt)border it would help another color pop as well. But I like it as it is also

It is very pretty. Maybe if you ran a narrow (½ inch)black strip around the border it would tie in with the black in the center.
