yet another "Think outside the box"

It is called Think outside of the box. The darkest color on the outside of the blocks is to give the effect that it is floating, or layered.

It is made from quarter log cabins and laid out in that arrangement, a very easy quilt.

I am keeping this one for myself, my bedroom has dk green carpet and lt green walls.

    I love it.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, mountian dew in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming. Yea haw what a ride! Suzie Sew

I love this pattern - usually it's done in bright solids, but you've made it so restful for a bedroom. Nice job!
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

Those are my favorite colors, my bedroom is done in pinks and greens also. Can you share the pattern? I would love to try it. Have been wanting a larger log cabin block, only have patterns for small ones.

The floating effect is wonderful. I thought I didn't care for log cabin blocks. After seeing your version, i really want to try the quarter log cabin method. I love your colors, too. Thanks for sharing.
