Thanks! I got the pattern from a book called "Canine Quilts" by Jeanette Crews Designs-it is made from a combination of felt and quilters cotton. I wish I could find a pattern for a Boxer-I have 2 and each of my sisters have one!

Darcy Ashton has several books on animal applique. And they are pretty good patterns. Mostly outline with stitched details. Her bunnies and some of the cats are featured in '30s prints but I have seen them done in a lot of different fabrics.
A couple of different dog ones, and I am sure there is a boxer in there. Try:
http://www.ashtonpub.com/books.htm#BBD
this is the book with the boxer and other large dogs. She also has a book for smaller dog breeds.
She self publishes but the books are often available at your local quilt shop. <G> Or they can order them usually.

Have fun,
Pati, in Phx
