That is so neat. I have a bunch of yo yo's I bought on ebay and this is a great way to use some of them! Not ugly at all.

Thanks everyone for their kind words!

This was a "challenge" from Bernina Club last month. She showed us how to make the yo-yos and gave us some ideas. This is a pre-purchased tote. I made over 50 yo-yo's while watching tv and probably have 20 left that I didn't use on this tote.

I love to make the yo-yo's, but what the heck do you do with them once their finished???

Trivia point: The dark navy buttons you see on this tote were in my button jar. I don't remember where I got them but they were still on a card and were attached with heavy string -- price for 10 buttons -- 10 cents!

Cute bag! I bought the yoyo makers for a retreat class, I'll see if I can post a picture of the project I made with them.

You know, I never like yo-yos -- until I saw these two projects! They are both beautiful.

Both projects are great. Totes are getting a lot more popular lately.
