This belonged to my paternal grandmother. My mom thinks my G-GM actually made it. Another push for us to label our quilts! I'm thinking late 30s or 40s.

That is so nice looking. And those fussy cut dandelions are really a nice touch. What a family treasure to have.

wow, I just love it,...and your closeup shot...I could just reach out and touch it. Wonderful picture of it, outside in the sunshine, too!
G-gma, wow! so special...yes, a label would have been perfect, all these years later.

OMG Eddie I never noticed that! And this one I used to have on my bed as a pre-teen. Thank you for pointing that out. I guess a fresh eye notices different things.

Thanks for all the comments. I had these stored away until about 5-6 years ago when I discovered quilting. After that, I had to dig them out.

That quilt is exactly why I started quilting. Someday, someone will find one of mine hidden. P.S. hopefully mine will have a label......

What a really beautiful treasure!! Just imagine all the hours and hours that went into it! And all these years later, having someone treasure it just as much as she did when she made it.
