eDear feline fanatic. I also ad a beatiful Maine Coon and he only lasted about 7 years. He had a heart murmur also and then developed diabetes and was on insulin. My little Fluffy died one night while I was holding him.. i still miss my little boy, and he was such a beauty to look at. I am so sorry for your loss.

Whew! I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who has to accommodate their quilting "help", Leo, my year-old Basset/Lab puppy "helps" me quilt. And cook. And bathe. And... well, you get the idea. LOL! But I wouldn't have it any other way!

This kitty is so sweet! So patient! Able to resist all those "birds"... LOL!

    What a sweet cat!

My tuxedo cat, Frodo, doesn't come around when I'm sewing, but if I leave fabric where he can lay on it, he does. Sabrina, my boxer, could care less. LOL

Alaskagal - Yes, the rubber gloves works on dog hair. I used to have a german shepard/wolf mix and during the warm months he would shed enough to create another dog.
