Here are some blocks that I have done and I cant decide if to put a sashing between the blocks are not,If I did it would be very thing like maybe 1/4 t0 1/2 inch at the most. And if I put a sashing in what color a dark blue or brown?or something that would really pop out like red?these are reproductions prints from either the 1700s or 1800s don't remember got them from Connecting Threads, they came in Jelly rolls
    Thanks for you help!

Just my humble opinion but I like it without the sashing.
    But everyone likes different things.
I love the blues! Please show us a picture when it is complete!

I like the colors. I think the sashing would look better if it pulled one of the more subtle colors from the quilt. But really lovely.

I like it just as it is with no sashing...but it depends on what size you want it to be and what you are trying to accomplish. I like your color combo, so if I were to add sashing, I think I would stick to the same color combos.

    sashing!! :D :D :D :D

Great job piecing. I vote no on sashing. Your blocks line up so well you don't need to try and hide mistakes. I would do the two borders one small and one bigger unless it will end up to big.

I agree with no sashing, looks great as is. But, if you want to add sashing lay the blocks over the colors of your choice to see which you like best. Then use it as your sashing and a 1st narrow border and another wider darker border maybe picking up one of the deep blues. The blues and beige/browns are great together.

I think you'd lose the pattern if you put a sashing - looks good the way it is!

I like it without. And I'd use a darker color for binding! Whatever you pick will look great!!

I think sashing detracts from the pattern and it so pretty.
