    Default A-Z Quilt

This is from a pattern by Janet Stone that she created for The Quilt Show (with Ricky Timms and Alex Anderson). I changed mine from the pattern. And there’s a big mistake in it, but I’m not taking it apart to fix it! (It’s missing a black sashing between two rows.). I used sheep fabric instead of doing sheep applique that was on the original. This pattern was a lot of fun, and I’m thinking of doing it again.

If you hadn't mentioned a mistake I would not have spent so much time looking for it. What I did enjoy most of all was closely looking at the wonderful work of each block. You did a fantastic job. Your quilt is perfect IMHO.

I think it's a great quilt and no one will ever know. I have not seen this before.

What a wonderful quilt! I looked at the picture first and never noticed the missing sashing strips. It's beautifully done and interesting to look at.

Beautiful quilt. Don't show the pattern and no one will know how it should have been. Your version looks great to me.

Great quilt. Why do us quilters point out our mistakes? We need to stop that!! Your mistake is not noticeable. Quilt is beautiful! You did a great job on the appliqué!

I happened to see a display of Janet Stone's entire alphabet quilts and was totally blown away by their intricacy and quilting. Many had trinkets attached as well. When I looked for a pattern I had a terrible time trying to locate one. Yours is delightful and you should be proud of the work you did. I love it.
