Just wanted to share my 7 year old sons first quilt that he made! I did the cutting and the finishing stuff but he sewed all the rectangles together and the fabric choices are all HIM!! The back is blue tye-dyed fleece. We just finished it tonight and he LOVES it!!!
The first thing he said was "WOW its bigger than i thought it would be!" and "Can you cut my new fabric into big squares now?" lol...I think i've created a little quilting monster but I love it!!

I love it! He is so handsome & did a wonderful job on that quilt. If my grandson lived closer, he would want to sew all the time. I think it's so smart to teach boys these things. Cooking too.
