Default Zig Zag baby quilt for Avery

I'm getting another great-great niece in April or May & they have already painted her room in large grey & white zig zags so I was pleased to find a free pattern on crazymomquilts.blogspot.ca and started this little quilt last weekend on the Virtual Quilt Weekend. I made mine a tad smaller than the pattern so it ended up 43" x 52" as I had a nice white embossed fleece that I wanted to use as backing & that's the biggest I could squeak it out! It's controlled scrappy except for the white, it has warm and natural batting & I machine quilted it.

Really pretty, has a modern vibe and will match the room nicely.
