This is just a smallish panel (approx. 24"x27") that I bought earlier this year. I fell in love with the name (Zippity Doo Dah) and thought I would practice my hand quilting. It turned out okay -- Had to wash to get all my blue marks out. Don't know if you can see or not, but I have quilted in some butterflies and a couple of extra flowers....

Very pretty and I can see the extra quilting! The blue from the panel ran on your hands?

I love the red, white, and blue things, no matter what they are!

    Hugs,
    Sharon

I used a blue wash out pen to mark the quilting lines for the "extra stuff". (I know now that I could have just used chalk and rubbed or erased -- Duh!!)

Yup, yup! Cuz I'm gonna have it there too! lol
I love that movie! I remember seeing it when I was little, when it first came out. I have it on VHS tape and need to put it onto DVD. Both my girls when they were little loved to sit and watch that movie.

I sounded so sure of myself - but I'm not. I should have said

I think that's from "Song of the South" and I think that

Uncle Remus sang it - and I know that there were butterflies

fluttering around when he sang it.

And your wall hanging is very happy looking!

    O.K. I can't help myself....

    "Mr. Bluebird's on my shoulder

    It's the truth - it's ackshul - everything is sat-is-fac-shul

    Zippity Doo Dah, Zippity A

    Wonderful feeling!

    Wonderful Day!"

If you're all going to sing it you may as well sing the right words!!!!

    (I think)
