do you think the animals in the book are too juvenile for a 13 year old girl who wants to do her room in jungle theme?

Your quilt is just totally adorable! Now, I'm determined to find this book. Thanks for sharing.

If she were my 13 yr. old I would run it by her first instead of surprising her with it. Some would absolutely love it and others might think that since they are almost 'grown up' it's not for them. Just my opinion.
Personally, I love it.

OMG - that's so cute. I love the giraffe and the monkey...well, I like them all.

I mailed the quilt to my daughter in North Carolina. We managed to stuff it into a priority envelope but I was so worried about it. Days past. A week past. I was sick with anxiety. Finally my husband tracked it and found that the mailman had tried to deliver last Saturday, but the slip was not left, or something. Anyway, it finally arrived today, 10 days later. My daughter told me baby Jack (2 months old now) looked at the animals for a long time and cooed at them. I guess that's approval!
