Do any of you make your own pattern and size it as you go along?

Often! I seldom am satisfied with copying a pattern!

I will take a pattern and modify it to my liking. Have not been brave enough to do a large quilt from scratch...YET!

I quilt like I cook - pretty much make it up as I go along. Fortunately the results are mostly acceptable :-)
