When a tutorial is removed, is it also removed from an individual's bookmarks?

Patty Patches 05-09-2011 05:29 PM

Boy,I hope not

AnnaK 05-09-2011 06:01 PM

I would think so since the bookmark is just a link to the tutorial. One way to preserve it would be to print it when you see it and keep it in hard copy.

Why would they remove tutorials? Now you've got me nervous. I'll have to go and make a copy of all the ones I've bookmarked. That's going to take forever.

Only a very few tutorials have been removed, these were due to copyright issues.
Many do get moved to the Links section, when they are only a link to a different site. :D:D:D

Was it "removed" or moved?

Our Tutorials section is exclusively for tutorials written by board members. In order to remain in that section, the whole tute must be posted here at the board.

anything posted in the Tutorials section that points to something off-board will either be moved to Links & Resources or (in some rare cases) deleted.

Has anyone figured out a way to organize bookmarks -- I keep so many, it would be so helpful if I had a way to categorize them. Thanks.......

Use the "My Pages" feature. You can set up a category, ie diamond log cabin, and then put links to related posts there. Look at my categories: http://www.quiltingboard.com/user_pa...?usernum=14813 You can also put short comments beside the link.
