Much much cheaper. Cut them in half and you will have lots more. :)

Marvelous. What a clever idea. Cheap too. And easy to find in stores. Seems to me that at one time I saw a big plastic bin full of them. That would be just the thing.

That is a neat idea. You are very clever.

That's a great idea!

For 50 pinmoors the price is $19.48.

Harbor Freight 50 ear plugs for $4.99

BIG DIFFERENCE. So for $20 bucks you can get 200 at HF. Who CARES if they are just orange and not different colors. Do you really think your quilt will know the difference? LOL

I had never heard of them. Always learning something new.

They'll show up nicely and you'll know right away if there's orange, there's a pin.

crafty_linda_b 05-13-2011 08:51 PM

Ok what are pinmoors?? crafty_linda_b

Pinmoors are used on the pointed end of pins instead of using safety pins when your pinning your quilt together.

Instead of using safety pins, you use your regular pins and you stick the point in a pinmoor instead of closing a safetypin to prevent you from getting "stuck" with the pin. Saves your fingers actually from opening and closing safety pins.
