I have been collecting 30s reproduction prints, and I'd like to make the cutest quilt in the world out of them. I'm open to any and all suggestions!

The cutest ones I've seen made with 30's prints are dresden plate ones....IMHO :)

I also like bullseye blocks.

Third place would be Sunbonnet Sue and I'm thinking Dolly Days would be awesome in 30's prints. |
Search for "Ode to the 1930's" quilt pattern on the Web and you will see all sorts of blocks to get your creative juices started or you can buy the pattern and make one gorgeous quilt. Wish I had done that with mine.

You could do a sampler, dresdon, postage stamp (depending on the size of the print), log cabin, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Im working on a 'braid' quilt using all those 30's prints...... will add white strips in between.

30's are my favorite fabric. I think anything is great done in 30's. My row robin is a 30's sampler. I have so much if it I'll be able to make 4 or 5 large quilt top from mine. Can't wait to see what you decide.

Eleanor Burns has a really neat pattern book out called "Egg Money Quilts". All the quilts are made from vintage or 30s repros. Great pictures, easy to follow instructions. And, the patterns are what you would call "period specific". I have made a few from this book, and every once in a while make another block for the sampler.
