I want to make some mug rugs and I'm wondering what size I should make them. Or can I make them any size I want to.

I usually make mine 5!/2 but you could make them any size you want.

Any size and every size. Depends on what you intend to do to them or with them. For example, are you including a pocket?

I usually make mine about 5 or 6 X 9 or 10" but you can make them any size!!

There's no Mug Rug Police .... so do as you wish!

Mine vary from 5x7 upwards to smaller than a placemat. It's often determined by the fabric sizes I'm using, the pattern I choose, or how I think it'll look best! And sometimes it's based on the piece og leftover batting I am using!! :)

I would say at least 5x5, but any size you want to make would be good...and they don't have to be square, they can also be rectangular.

I make my mugrugs from leftover quilt squares....anywhere from 6x6" and up.

Measure what you would like to place on it, and go from there :D:D:D
