These came with a treadle I just bought. I know a few of them but this one has me stumped.
Any ideas?

These I know what they are, but to have a set I thought was pretty wonderful!

I think she is right. It is a pleater.

I think it's actually called a tucker and I bet the second one is an early less complicated version of a ruffler.

The thing in the 3rd picture next to the seam gauge is a mystery to me, anyone else know what it is?

That set of hemmers is sweet. I had never tried using them and if you can get the fabric to stay where it belongs they do a beautiful job...try 'em.

Thank you!!

It did have a ruffler too, but these two I'm stumped on.

What I find astonishing is that the older people actually SAVED all the attachments that came with their machines. EVERY THING!! Even the owner's manual.

Nowadays we know that we can find copies..we can get along without some of them..we put them here and there..or at least I do, even though I was throughly taught that if something was lost, there was NO money to get more.

But as for having everything that came with each new machine I bought over the years...it's a toss up if I could or couldn't find all of them.

It astonishes me how many boxes of attachments are in thrift stores minus the machines. How could they a. get so separated and b. be kept and wind up in the thrift store? I have bought 4 boxes this trip, one just to get an extra Singer bobbin case as it was worth what they wanted for the whole box!

greenini?
You can buy attachments? WOW. Let me give you my phone number, next time you run across something, take a pic on your phone send it to me and I'll send you the money!! =)

I never find stuff like this out here.

The one near the bottom looks like a ruffler to me too. The set of binding feet is amazing!

I wonder if it's because our newer machine's don't come as a unit with the cabinet, therefore instant storage?

Excellent point tho!!
