Which was better, the book or the movie??

I read V. C. Andrews's Flowers in the Attic series back in the late 1970's and the book was soooo much more detailed and alot better than the movie. I don't usually read the books and watch the movies since then. I was really disappointed in the movie after reading the book first.

I think I'm going to look online and buy the book now. Lets see if it's better or not.

What do you all think???

What book are you going to buy? Flowers in the attic series? I read that series probably 5 times. True the movie Sucked really bad.

Right now I am reading The Twilight Saga again for probably the 5th or 6th time. And I've watched the movies umpteen times too.

My daughter just finished reading Flowers in the attic about a month ago too.

The movie followed the book really well I thought...both are very good.

The book is fantastic, haven't seen the movie have to wait 'til it's on dvd.

I haven't seen the movie, but really enjoyed the book.

The book was great. I'm eager to see the movie. It seems to be doing well in the box office.

I loved both "Help" book and movie. It's hard but I try not to compare them. Books can be so detailed and I have a bad habit of deciding who I think needs to play the different roles. Hollywood seldom agrees with me. Bridges of Madison County...never ever would have I picked Clint Eastwood....Andy Garcia was so much more continental looking for that role...lol

I have just finished the book. It was AWESOME! I am thinking about catching the early show of it today at the theater.

The book and movie are both very good. The book is more detailed, of course, but the movie follows the book very well. I recommend both (smile).

I've found almost all books to be more detailed than the movies made from them. I usually read the book first.
