I used some old owl blocks for a quilt as you go. I used a lot of patterns from Leah Day's blog. I enlarged them and used a different one on each block. I changed some a little, and used a traditional feather on the borders. Someone posted that her designs are too dense, but if you make them bigger, they seem to work great.

Those owl are just too cute. My DGD would love them.

Very cute owls, and the quilting is very nice also. I love how colorful they are.

Stunning!
The owls are adorable but the FMQ in the blocks is magnificent. I love that kind of quilting. |
The quilt is as darling as can be. And you are right, you can make Leah Day's Designs bigger. It just takes less fabric when practicing to practice smaller.

You have done a fabulous job with your owl quilt. It is really adorable.

Your work is beautiful, and I love the colorful and cheery owls. I have Leah's patterns printed out, but I am very intimidated by them. I just have to dive in very soon.
