Here is my first needle-turn applique project, called "A Vintage Christmas" by Bunny Hill designs. This is ready for quilting. I really enjoyed making this and doing all the hand-sewing.
I did not buy fabrics specifically for this project; I just auditioned fabrics from what I had on hand. I like the varied backgrounds; it does give it a more 'vintage' feel. And, no quilt top in the house gets past the inspector! [ATTACH=CONFIG]276787[/ATTACH] |

Wow that is gorgeous. I love needle turn. I'm just learning it, wonder if I could put something like that together.....Good job. Did you have a pattern or wing it?
