How much is a general cleaning and check up?
 

When you take your machine in for a check-up and cleaning, how much do you pay for the service.
What is the turn around time for your machine? Just bought a used machine and need to line up a good place for cleaning and general maintenance. Thanks for your help.

I pay $75 for my Bernina, that's the going rate where I am. I usually get her back in a day or so.

It seems to vary enormously from place to place -- both cost and time to get the machine back.

I pay $79 and it can be anywhere from a couple days to 1 week.

$112.50 and usually back home within a week.

I pay 65.00 and he comes to my house usually on the same day I call.

Check up on my Janome is $65; turn around is 3 days to one week.

$75 if it just needs a little loving care....plus parts if he has to put any in.
