Do you recognize this pattern?

I saw this beautiful quilt with white background and blue, green, gold and burgandy at a small show about two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I failed to identify either the quilter or the pattern. The workmanship was outstanding. Thank you for your assistance.

It is commonly known as Star Spin. Use this board's search feature and you will see many examples and discussions.

it is a card trick block- put together to create the 'star spin' quilt- often blocks of one name are used to create quilts with different names-
like a sunshine & shadows quilt made of log-cabin blocks....the card trick block can be made into a number of different layouts....like the star spin one.

Also card trick is traditionally only 4 cards, while this is 8.

Thank you, each and every person who commented. :-) I will put this one my wishful list.....
Now, I can properly label the picture. Actually, the picture I took doesn't do it justice. The workmanship was superb!

I have also seen it done in a tablerunner called Strip Tease.

Easiest pattern to make. You make log cabin blocks and cut them corner to corner and the smaller sections are from the same size log cabin block only cut corner to corner twice..... Bought the pattern some time ago and sold it after I read the directions. Never did make it.....
