Searching for instructions to a variation on a log cabin block
 

I found this quilt pattern yesterday. I don't know the name, if there is one, but I would love to make a block. Does anyone know the name or, maybe, how I would make this block? I am new at quilting so I can't seem to break it down to try it.

I know someone on here was working on something similiar and had shown pictures of a table runner, but of course I can't find it right now. Hopefully someone can point you in the right direction.

I do believe that block is called "twisted" log cabin( lots of different versions out there) , and is done with paper piecing. There are several sites with free versions. but I found this one is this what you are looking for?
