What do you think?
With or without triangle squares? I would vary the color of the squares of course.

Yikes! Tough decision but either will be stunning :)
|
I'd go without the triangle squares. But the important thins is to do what you like - that way you'll always love the quilt!
|
With!! I love the color and contrast. Look forward to seeing what you decide.

Both look great!

This was the original thread I posted asking for ideas for a throw for my cousin (a man) that's been diagnosed with cancer and will be starting chemo soon. Out of those replies (thank you all so much!) I took bits and pieces and came up with the snowball quilt.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...p-t218168.html I am going on the long arm at school on Tuesday so I don't have much time, but I think I could find the time to sew the cut off triangles and use them as a border. But when I look at it, I'm wondering if it's not too busy. |
I like without. I think the size differential is jarring. But either way, I am sure it will stunning. Looking forward to seeing what you end up with.

And, it's all out of my stash! I didn't buy a thing! :)
|
Without will be fine. Don't make it too hard on yourself. If you want to dress up the border, then just do pieced cornerstones - only four to worry about that way. Little snowballs would be cute.

I prefer it without. That came out really nice!
