Jenny Doan's new tutorial is the easiest, fastest yet

Jenny's tute is called 'Silly Goose Quilt Tutorial' on YouTube. You've got to see it. You could make a quilt in two hours or less. It's pretty cool.

I saw the tute. It looks so cute. I have two civil war repro charm packs that I've been looking for a project for. I might think about this one. I think the repros would be pretty with a nice creamy white. Hmmm. I might have to check the Missouri Star site and see what charm packs she has that might work.

I love it! So easy! I need to dig out some of my charm packs for this one.

Someone on the M*QS site suggested using scraps. Why didn't I think of that?

Isn't she the greatest? I've said it before but, she is my hero. They are so talented at MSQC. This is a great quilt.

This would be a great leaders and enders project. I could have two tops made at the same time!

I took a minute to watch and this is very cute and so simple. She and her team are very creative.

Thanks for sharing this tid bit.

How do you think it would look using the pattern charm with solid geese?

Belfrybat 08-30-2013 02:10 PM

Wow. That is incredibly easy. I have a couple of charm packs I got in a swap that I've been wondering what to do with them. Just need to find a neutral background, and I think this will be a project for the upcoming quilt retreat I'm attending.
