Hi,
I'm new here and posting for the first time. So please be patient with me if it's not the best. :)
Two days ago I ran across an estate sale and picked up this sweet vintage machine. I'd been searching for a robin's egg blue machine with red accents (brand name negotiable) and this filled the bill.
Thing is, I deal mostly with Kenmore's. I love 'em!!! I know a little bit about everything else, but barely scratching the surface. Can you help me out with some details? Anyone know that age of it? It's in amazing condition with little to no scratching. I was able to score a new needle plate from a friend, so now it's up and running smoothly with no tension/thread issues at all.
Thanks for any info you may have. Oh- and how about an approximate value? Don't ask me how much I spent...

If you have the manual for it, you may find the information you need. If you can find the model number, you should be able to go to google and get information you need. I'm sure others on the board will be able to help you better than I. Great looking machine!

This machine looks early to mid 80s to me, but I am certainly no expert. It is pretty though, and I can see why you were drawn to it.

Kenmores with serial number starting with 117 were made by White - That is a very, very pretty machine!

We have a thread about the Japanese zig zag and fancy stitch machines - here is a link:
