Desperately seeking pattern
 

Anyone know the name of this? Or where I can purchase the pattern?

It looks like strip sets of 60 degree triangles, graduating colors, set on their side. Shouldn't be hard to do.

Easy is what my friend said too. And even though I have made many intricate quilts, and a lot from just looking at pictures, this one seems to buffalo me. I am so in love with the design I will give it a go, and run to my friend if I get stuck or I can't locate the pattern.

I agree, looks like one way you cut you get lights and the other way you get darks. I thought it was a Bargello at first glance. Selecting the color grades will be the most difficult part. Hope you have a design wall. It will make the layout much easier !!

It appears to be a very simple pattern if you look at it like this............simplified............but strips made of black, charcoal, gray, dove gray and white pieced together. Then cut a triangle that is black on big end and then flip the triangle and cut white on the big end.
Next piece column of lighter triangles zig zagged and then columns of the darker triangles zig zaggede.

The size of the original strips could be your choice, but I'm guessing they are 2 1/2.

Break it down to simple units and you'll find easy triangles from dark to light and then light to dark. then just zig zag

Great quilt. I love it but how did that lady on the right get a third arm? I want a third arm!!!
