What is wrong in this quilting
1 Attachment(s)
On the bottom, it was the last border, the last motif to be marked. Thankfully before I did the semi circles of lines 1/8" apart, I noticed it wasn't centered. It took 3 1/2 hours to rip. I would tell you I learned a lot about ripping but I already had that knowledge down pat. Oh well, at least I didn't put a hold in it ripping. LOL Yes you are not the only one out there who has a few goofs. Hopefully by tomorrow night it will be requilted and look like it never happened.

Wow, that's a lot of work! Will be gorgeous!
You are a better person than me, I would have left it as it was!
I hope this is the 'after your ripped' photo, because I sure can't see any mistakes!
I thought it was beautiful the way it was however you are the person it must satisfy. That's a lot of careful ripping!
That is equal to what the Amish call a humility block. Most would not notice your mistake. Me included.

Your feathers are beautiful Oh why does it have to take so long to unsew when it takes so little time to sew:o!!
Sigh -- when we see what we consider to be a mistake our eye always goes to that spot and we don't see anything else. You have done a nice job on your quilting.

You'll be glad you went through the ripping as it would forever be the one spot where your eye would travel. May still, but at least it will be right and you can smile rather than frown and wonder why you left it that way. It truly is beautiful!!
