quilts in shows and movies
 

do you notice the quilts on sets of shows on teevee and in movies?

i do.

"six feet under" - claire has a very modern quilt she uses as a couch cover. i have tried to figure out what it is. i think the samequilt is used earlier in the show (season 2?) by keith's niece.

"the americans" sports a classic 1980's sampler quilt as the backdrop to the main character's marital bed.

I notice them all the time. Can't be specific right now - too late for me, my mind is ready for bed.

All the time! I usually shout out the pattern if I know them. My sweety shakes his and looks at me like I'm nuts!

Hallmark... Honeymoon for One ... used a two color white with purple for a picnic

The old black and white westerns have some great quilts back at the ranch!!

Walt Disney's THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG! When Tiana is a little girl, it is shown on her bed. When she is a young woman, it is shown hanging on the wall at the head of her bed.

I dont catch them all of the time. But when I do, I hopeing I can get a longer view of them. When the scene is showing, or maybe they'll go back to another scene with the quilt in it.

Yes I do! Even my husband will shout Quilt! Quilt! if I'm not in the room so apparently I can run in to see it
