Stickers on Storage Drawers
1 Attachment(s)
I bought these bank of Iris drawers and have been very pleased with them. I finally bought a Brother P-Touch so I am making labels to go on the front of the drawers. You can see I was able to peeled one label off easily over a year ago but now there seem to be permanently stuck. I don't want to take a razor blade to scrape them off because of the drawer being a soft rubber plastic. Any suggestions to remove the gunk and the label ?? THANKS

Have you tried nail polish remover??
|
My go to is goo gone.
|
Goop. Try it. :)

There is an aerosol Orange citrus that will remove almost all glues.

Goo Gone works for me, you can get it at Walmart!

If you don't want to use a chemical I have done this. Scratch the surface of the label and soak it in a sink or bathtub. It should come off in an hour or so. Peanut butter also works, leave it on all night. :)

Is the label on both ends? If not, turn it around. (lazy, I know)

Someone on the QB recommend this recently:
http://www.amazon.com/Un-Du-Products...dp/B003TZQPTS/ I haven't had a chance to try it yet myself, but the reviews for it are good. Edit: Forgot to mention my personal standby -- a hair dryer! Heating the adhesive makes it more sticky and therefore easier to remove. Still might need a little Un-Do or Goo Gone afterwards, but often I can get the entire label and all adhesive off just with heat. |
WD40 - works every time.
