dresdan plate variation?
they look old, and pretty

looks like a dresden and they added there own center?

Looks like a Dresden Plate variation to me. Dresden plates were usually hand stitched down to a plain background fabric square. The squares were then stitched together to form a quilt top.

Oh ok, that makes sense and a lot less complicated!!!

Get some tracing paper and trace around the fabric, then add the 1/4/" seam for each piece. Then you can make a plastic shape for the pieces. Check the backs to see how they are put together.

I would say this is the Dresden plate with their own choice of centers-- very pretty-I made and sold the Dresden plate--

It is a variation of Dresden.....combining the round tips with the straight top sewed to form points...the center is the pink circle with what I call pumpkin seeds appliqued( green) on top..those seeds being in space between pointed spokes...OR green circle with odd shaped cross in pink appliqued. I'm sure if you google you'll find tons of pics!

You are so lucky to have found these.....you will have a beautiful quilt once you mount them.....and someone's hard work and pretty fabrics will get a new life. Don't forget to share a photo once you use them.
