Four years after attending a workshop given by Tammie Bowser in Puyallup, Washington at SewExpo, I finally finished this quilt. It was taken from a photo of my Sheltie, Fraser. It took 24 different fabrics and 2250 one and a quarter inch pieces. It isn't as difficult as it looks, Tammie sells a computer program that pixilates a photo. The rest is as easy as paint by number. I couldn't bear to quilt it myself, so a friend did it for me. When I was putting it together, I couldn't see the big picture, but when I saw it from across the room, I was surprised to see the image! The ribbons are from a local quilt walk. It won first place Art and first place viewer's choice. I was on cloud 9! (Huge ribbons!)
