Need top tension exploded drawing for ...

a Singer 534.

I'm working on a Polish clone of a Singer 534 machine. It has the identical same top tension as this 518:

I need an exploded drawing of this type of tension or instructions on how to service it. I have a Singer 500 series shop manual and that only shows how to R&R the entire unit.
ArchaicArcane, I looked through the info you sent me and there's nothing in there either.

Does anyone here have such an exploded drawing or service info??

TIA,

Joe

I don't have but this site is wonderful and you can email her and she will respond. Don't know if you all know about this site...wealth of info!

Looks like it on this page? Scroll down a bit.

grandmasieg,

Thanks for taking the time to look up these sites. Unfortunately the tension on the 534 is a totally different design from the 221 /301 or any of the others. It is a design unique to it's own series.

I'll bookmark the site with the replacements for future reference though.

I LOVE exploding things!!! How can I help? Pretty good with broom and dustpan cleanup afterwards, too. Lemme know ;?^)

I think I may have that at home. We had the open arm version of that machine that DH fixed up and sent to DS.

LOL, you and Miriam should get together. The two of you would have a blast. :D

Well, seriously, just keep your eyes out for instructions or a drawing of that type of top tension. I'm gonna muddle through it and hope for the best.

Cathy,
If you do I'd be thrilled. I've got three, maybe more, Singers with that type of top tension and not one bit of instructions on how to service them.

That tension is just like the Touch and Sew tensions go in the Singerco.com site and look up a Singer 756. That may help. Google Singer replacement parts and it will bring you to the machine lists.

Steve,

The owners manual is great, thanks. It will work perfectly for that machine.
However neither manual give servicing info for the tension assembly.
