Hola from Panama
 

I'm Valerie. So happy to have found this board. I've been living in Panama for the past 2 years and I really miss visiting quilt shops (none here), attending classes and socializing with others who enjoy quilting. And having a conversation in English! Apart from the indigenous Guna women who come into the city to sell their beautiful molas (panels hand sewn using reverse applique) - quilting is just not part of the Panamanian culture. I hope that by joining this board I resolve my quilting isolation and shift my focus back to being creative!
