Tumbler Binding

I've been working on a tumbler for my parents. My mom chose the pattern and the colors (blue and white) and I'm debating what to use for the binding. Blue, white, or another contrasting color such as red. I would love to see some opinions. Here is a photo. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r...101_232332.jpg

I would choose a bright or deep blue similar to those in your quilt. Great job, very pretty!

Dark blue binding would be nice and it will stay clean looking longer. Pretty Tumbler top!

I would use a dark blue or a medium tan. Nice quilt! I love tumblers.

I used to think that bindings were mostly plain colors, but a really great colorist in quilting showed me that using a bold pattern with multiple colors that tie into the blocks is the way to go and I have never reverted back to ordinary. The binding is so narrow and this quilt has enough visual impact that something colorful and bold would be a great choice....go for it!

I would use a bright medium blue similar to the blue that is predominant in the quilt. But red would also look great!

I would pick a lovely paisley print in those colors for a border.
