Elm Creek book series
I'd like to get back to reading and I thought I'd try the Elm Creek series. If you've read, or are reading the series, do I have to start at #1?
I think you should start at one...they follow each other and I would lose track of diff people and such if I read them out of order.
I totally agree.....yOu need the beginning of the story
Yep. Start at one.....
Many libraries carried these a few years back, so if you don't want to invest in that many books, check out your local library first. I really enjoyed her first books....but as the "series" went on... the continuity glitched and the excitement just kind of glazed over. I'm sure many people will disagree.... which is good... that's what sells books!
I, too, agree to start with #1 so you can "meet" the main characters. I've thoroughly enjoyed the series and hope there will be more to come. Yes, some were better than others, but overall, well written.

Love the books I agree would make more since if you start with one
I have read the whole series and yes it's better to start with one so you know who is who. enjoy!
yes start at 1 they also have these on cd at library great to listen to while quilting llved the series
Each book does a nice job of giving you background info on the characters but, I agree with everyone else...you will enjoy the series so much more if you begin with book #1.
