What's on your quilting "Bucket List"?
My only item on the list used to be to make ONE quilt that wasn't hideous because I wasn't really good at it or much of a sewer in the first place.
I have a few now that are halfway decent so my new goal is to make one for all my loved ones before I croak outta here. : ) |
i don't need a bucket... i need a storage pod! LOL I keep a folder of quilt ideas on my computer... the list is getting very long
|
Top of my bucket list is a Mariner's Compass. I keep looking for designs I like other than just a center medallion. Don't think I could manage designing my own and have what I have in my mind's eye translate to paper or fabric and have it decent looking. I keep working at it though.

I have a square piece of thick upholstery fabric cream with imprinted relief roses and leaves and I want to make a sort of hybrid quilt/bedspread no batting in between as the upholstery fabric is very thick and weighs a lot. Still thinking how to go about making this.

Just have a serious talk with myself about getting my UFO's done.:)
|
Yep. Me too, sandy!! I have lots of UFOs. Bed-sized quilts for 2 grandsons, a grandaughter, and son for starters. All four of them ARE UFOs!!
|
Pickle Dish (actually a current UFO)
Double Wedding Ring - (just got the Die for this) Winding Ways (just got the Die for this - also) |
a DWR for older daughter, another bed quilt for DH and me, quilt for DGD for wedding, and then a second round of quilts for each family member.
|
To many to list I pray that I'm here long enough to make them all, and that I don't run out of fabrics! Ha.
|
I have enough to start and finish then go to the bucket list which includes a bargello.
