Well we've gone and done it. We're adding a basset puppy to our family. Friday I am traveling to Maryland to pick up 12 week old hopeful future champion - Rapscallion's Horizontal Merger call name Benjamin Button aka Benny. I can't wait. Ten year old Gracie Allen's nose will be out of joint until she realizes she now has 2 pack mates to boss around and nine year old Clyde Kadiddlehopper will moan that he's supposed to be the baby but hopefully they will all get along.

I think they are adorable but I just can't stand the drool. I just gag.
|
Good luck with bringing him in with his new mates. Doesn't look like he has much energy.

I've been lucky. My guys have all been fairly dry mouthed. Clyde occasionally will drool a bit if there's food involved. I have seen some bigtime droolers and I don't know if I could handle it. |

Too cute. I love Bassett hounds.

I love those velvet ears. :) Not a big fan of drool but I think Newfies are worse. Also, I have a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier that doesn't drool, but look out for that beard after he's had a drink of water!! :D

Very cute puppy. Good luck with them all getting along.
